Take the first step with Bamboo Reef’s Advanced Nitrox Course You will learn: Buoyancy, Trim, and Propulsion Techniques for greater efficiency and comfort on every dive. Gas management and dive planning techniques using optimized nitrox blends for depths up to 150 feet. Use of a stage or pony bottle for enhanced stage stops up to 15 minutes long. Use of a surface marker buoy and reel for controlled ascents. Core skills and knowledge required to enroll in our Extended Range Diver Course. Prerequisites: Advanced Diver Certification with Deep, Nitrox, Stress and Rescue, and Science of Diving Specialties (or equivalents). 24 logged dives (six must be nitrox dives) Must be able to swim 400 yards with mask fins and snorkel, tread water for 15 minutes, and swim underwater 20 feet while exhaling the whole way to a buddy with an alternate air source. Provide own high quality BC, regulator, nitrox capable computer, exposure suit, mask , fins, and snorkel. Sean Wheeles Instructor Trainer and Tech XR Instructor will be teaching these classes. Monday June 13^th (class), Wednesday June 15^th (pool), Saturday June 18^th (beach), Sunday June 19^th (boat) or Monday September 19^th (class), Wednesday September 21^st (pool), Saturday September 24^th (beach), Sunday September 25^th (boat) Tuition is $395.00 Books,materials, nitrox fills, rentals, and boat fees are additional.
