Dear ,
Technical Exposure: Is Technical Diving the next step for you?
Join Bamboo Reef for a day of discussion and pool practice, learning about new techniques and equipment needed to explore further, deeper, and longer.
The morning class session spends a few hours explaining the learning path to becoming a technical diver, be it wrecks, caves, or depths, everyone begins with the same few steps. We also introduce the basic equipment configuration required for all Technical Diving Students. Finally we will explain the course structure and requirements for our Technical Diving Program.
The second half of the day will be spent in the pool. You will have the opportunity to learn some basic propulsion and buoyancy techniques all technical divers must master. Also full technical open circuit rigs will be on hand for every participant to spend some time test diving. Please bring your own complete set of basic scuba equipment (mask, fins, bc, regulator, exposure suit at a min). Tanks and weights will be on hand for you to use. Don’t forget your towel….
Technical Exposure was created to answer questions and introduce new equipment and ideas. It is not a certification course. Technical diving is very different way of looking at exploring the underwater world when compared to sport diving, and may not be for everyone. The Techniques introduced in this course will, however, be of use to any diver who can master them.
Date: February 26th 9am – 4pm (there will be a one hour break for Lunch)
Tuition: $100.00
Come take a look at what all the fuss is about and decide for yourself. We’ll look forward to seeing you…
